Though I wasn't aware of it when I made this piece, a number of culture jammers and anti-war activists had already hit on the idea of combining the Abu-Ghraib abuse images with the graphic style of Apple's iPod ads.
If mine has one thing to add, though, to the multifaceted political and cultural content suggested by the combination of imagery, it's the implication that the detainee is listening to Let's Give Up on his iPod.
